PS Anghel Saligni (ex - Continental, ex - Schruns, ex - Habsburg)
Built in 1884 by Schiffswerft Linz
Engines : Compound Diagonal by Escher, Wyss of Zurich
Length : 50.3 x 11.9 metres

Flat deck vessel
On 8th October 1887 she was involved in a collision with PS Stadt Lindau near the entrance to Lindau Harbour
Stadt Lindau sank, three people lost their life, and Captain Mercadin was sentenced to prison as a result
Forward deckhouse added and sponsons extended in 1896
Out of service from 1914 and renamed Schruns in 1919, she never reentered service
Sold to the Linz Shipyard in 1921, dismantled and taken to the Danube, where she was given deck saloons.
Sold for use on the Danube in Romania and given the name Continental
Survived into the 1970s by which time she was sailing under the name Anghel Saligni
Served as a floating restaurant at Galati
Seriously damaged by fire in the 1983. Hauled out of the water but never restored and later scrapped
