A large and speedy vessel, she was the CSP’s new
build for the summer Arran service
Main saloon extended the full width of ship and promenade deck
extended to the bow, giving spacious accommodation inside and out
Competed with the GSWR’s Glen Sannox until the arrival of Duchess of
Argyll in 1906
Reboilered in 1906 and sent to the Gourock station for railway
connection service
Taken over by the Admiralty in 1915 as a minesweeper off the east
coast of England
Mined and sunk near Harwich on 29th November
1915.
