pier was first erected at Seeburgin 1863 and for 48 years was the
only landing stage on the right bank of the Bay of Lucerne. Until
well into the 20th century it remained a busy pier, primarily serving
the large Hotel Bellevue nearby. The existing structure dates from
1912 and is now a protected historical monument.

Luzern, calling at Seeburg on her return to Luzern, the only
scheduled daily call by a paddler at this pier , which lies close to
Verkehrshaus-Lido. An "outbound" call is made only on a Sunday
morning. The pier is otherwise served by local services in the Luzern
area.
