Petofi is owned by the Zoltan Foundation, a ship museum society,
and she lies just off the main channel of the Danube at Neszmely, upstream of
Budapest in Hungary. The ship is stripped but there are hopes to rebuild her
eventually. Most engine parts remain aboard although much of the machinery is
dismantled.
