Engines built in 1841 : Side lever two cylinder engine by J Cockerill of Seraing (BE)
Originally named Seraing, the Rhein steamer was renamed Germania in 1846. Ended service in 1903 and used as a workshop until sold for scrapping in the Netherlands in 1922

The engine is preserved in the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
