This
short section of Bos en Lommerweg including the intermediate stop at
Egidiusstraat was closed for passenger service in a route
reorganisation following the opening of the North/South metro line. The
reorganisation included some simplification of the network and
reduction of overlapping routes with the existing routes at each end of
the closed section now having separate routings into the city. The
tracks are to be retained for works purposes and for diversions in
case of disruptions.
