Tracks in Komturstrasse were closed between
Komturplatz and Friedhofstrasse on 11th April 2022. A bus replacement
service was in operation until new track was completed in the
parallel Waldkircher Strasse on 14th June 2023. Running one block to
the north of its original route trams now use a much more modern
alignment which runs along the southern size of a major urban
redevelopment area on what was once a large railway goods-handling
depot.
