Duisburg, Germany : 29th March, 1995
This series concentrates on the two main underground stations, Hauptbahnhof and Koenig Heinrich-Platz opened for service on 11/7/92 after many years in construction and preparation for service. Both are twin-level stations served by local Duisburg tram services and the Stadtbahn service to Duesseldorf. Three views taken at Lutherstrasse illustrate the tram route from Mulheim at the entry to the tunnel to the east of Hauptbahnhof , whilst other views show the scene at the western (Schwanenstrasse) and southern (Sonnenwall) entrances to the central tunnel system.
